If I should have your heart

If I should have your heart,
I would squeeze out all of the pain,
all of the sorrows, of bitter bygone days.
I would spring a galaxy of dappled blooms from those deserted plains
and I would make the sun to quietly swathe you in its shimmering rays.

If I should have your heart,
I would mend all those fractures and breaks
with a crumbled piece of my soul,
and I would fill stardust within the marrow of your bones.
I would teach your heart not to always open its doors
because those who beg to enter do not deserve to be at your home.

If I should have your heart,
I would calm down all those seething hurricanes brewing under your skin
and I would gather all those treasured remains, shattered by your kins.
I would sweep away all those murky clouds
to let the light seep in your veins,
and I would make your heart understand

that one day,
you too would dance -
under the shower of euphoria that would emerge from all the pain
you've endured,

for so long.

And
if I should have your heart,
I would attach a string
connected with my own,
so that you may always remember -

we maybe far apart,
but we are never alone.
