Escape to Dreams
She longed for a fairytale, tired of reality,
Wanting to escape from all the cruelty.
In dreams, she found a world so bright,
Where love won and everything felt right.
In castles and gardens, her heart would soar,
Far from shadows, into light once more.
But morning came, and dreams would fade,
Leaving her wishing for the magic they made.
So she took a pen and with gentle strokes,
Created new worlds where her spirit awoke.
Her fairytale lived in the words she would write,
Turning darkness to dawn and wrongs into right.
Through stories and songs, she found her might,
No longer trapped in the sorrowful night.
In every tale she wrote, her spirit gleamed,
A fairytale woven from the life she dreamed.
